A little bit of blabla about me...
I am Jessica Bogus, 36, french, living between France & Crete and teaching french as a foreign language (FLE) for 4 years now. Besides teaching I love to cook, read, sing, hike, swim, talk, laugh, taste new food, travel in a van and meet new people!
WHERE HAVE I BEEN & WHAT HAVE I DONE?

AFTER GETTING MY BACHELOR IN PSYCHOLOGY FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NANCY (FRANCE), I TOOK OFF FOR SWEDEN WHERE I GRADUATED FROM AN INTERNATIONAL MASTER IN GLOBAL STUDIES WITH A MAJOR IN CROSS-CULTURAL PSYCHOLOGY.
AFTER MY MASTER I MOVED TO ROMANIA FOR A 6 MONTHS INTERNSHIP AT THE FRENCH CULTURAL INSTITUTE AS A LANGUAGE ASSISTANT, BEFORE COMING BACK TO SWEDEN WHERE I MANAGED A FRENCH CULTURAL CAFE FOR 3 YEARS (A very rich & crazy experience!) WHERE I HELD FRENCH CLASSES, WHILE ALSO TEACHING FRENCH FOR THE LIFELONG LEARNING ADULT UNIVERSITY (Folksuniversitet)!

AFTER 7 LIFE CHANGING YEARS IN SWEDEN I CAME BACK TO FRANCE WHERE I TAUGHT ENGLISH AT A CAMBRIDGE CERTIFIED CENTER.

WHAT ABOUT NOW THEN?

-> TODAY... I AM LIVING BETWEEN FRANCE AND CRETE AND WORK AS A FRENCH TEACHER ONLINE AND/OR IN PRESENTIAL WHEREVER I FIND MYSELF!

MY METHODOLOGY
My thirst for discovery has taken me to Sweden, Romania and Greece since 2012; yet teaching (FR and EN) has been my best travel partner!
I know how important it is to learn the language of the country of residence to facilitate meetings, exchanges, and simply daily life! I also know the fear of daring to express your feelings, of making mistakes and so on...

Thus, my teaching method is inspired by my own experiences as a person living abroad for about ten years now!
Therefore it combines important vocabulary, grammar rules, lots of discussions and oral production exercices, oral comprehension exercices based on contemporary cultural products (movies, musics, artists and so on)...

Learning French might seem difficult and impressive but the essential is to break the mental barriers of "am I wrong?", "do I pronounce this well?", "is this correct?", and to grasp enough knowledge to express basic feelings, requests, opinions, in order to simply communicate "en français"! :)

Then only can we go deeper in the dark side of the language, and embrace this challenge with fun and feeling at ease!

A bientôt!
